Top Ten Best Chocolate Cupcakes on the Web

I've sifted through hundreds, if not thousands, of cupcakes looking for the top ten chocolate cupcake recipes out there.  Here's the top ten best:

 1)
These ultimate chocolate cupcakes from browneyedbaker.com has a ganache filling and chocolate buttercream frosting for a taste of three different chocolates in your mouth at once.

2)
Out of all the German Chocolate Cupcakes on the web, I want this one from backtoherroots.com the most.  Yes it calls for a cake mix, but I think this is so you can concentrate on making the German Chocolate Center from scratch.

3)
This one from sallysbakingaddiction has to be one of the best because it comes up first on the Google search engines.  Obviously it has been clicked on more than once. Plus, I love vanilla frosting on chocolate cake.

schoolnightdinnerideas...because you should eat your dinner first!

4)
What if you want chocolate, but can't decide between brownies and cupcakes?  These Brownie Batter Cupcakes from Kevinandamanda.com will solve this dilemma.

5)
The first baking blog that ever took my breath away was sprinklebakes.com and I will never forget this picture of flaming strawberries on top of chocolate cupcakes even though I saw it many years ago (2011).  I bet if you make these chocolate cupcakes for someone's birthday, they will never forget it either.

6)
These chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter frosting from theknoxvilleholts.blogspot.com because chocolate and peanut butter are supposed to be together.

7)
Homemade Hostess cupcakes with a little kick of expresso from 17andbaking.  I love the smooth, shiny frosting on these and I like feeling like a kid again just looking at them.

8)
No, it's not Martha Stewart, it's Margarita Stewart that has this amazing recipe for chocolate, chocolate chip, cream cheese cupcakes.  Who needs frosting when you could sink your teeth into this?

9)
I chose this dark chocolate peppermint cupcake from sweetrevelations because my boyfriend will only eat chocolate if it has peppermint with it.  Click on her link for Dark Chocolate Mocha Cupcakes for a chocolate cake that will go good with any frosting.

10)
Well, that was easy.  This cupcake obviously belongs on this list because it has a crown on it's head and thecupcakeproject (who has also done their research) has already crowned it number one.
